The Project Wheels Foundation provides support for Friedreich’s Ataxia (F.A.) patients and their families. This rare neuromuscular disease very often limits the mobility and free movement of those afflicted. Project Wheels aims to provide direct support to F.A.
patients by helping them acquire equipment such as wheelchairs, retrofitted vehicles and home wheelchair ramps. We work relentlessly alongside our supporters to help these individuals maintain their independence and live a life free of obstacles.
The Project Wheels Foundation was founded by members of a family affected by Friedreich’s Ataxia in the Boston, MA area. We are currently pending 501(c)(3) status.
Please support our new foundation by making a donation or by attending our events. We will be actively updating our website with new information on FA research, personal stories, and other fun stuff so be sure to keep coming back!
